Conventional front-firing speakers are not able to recreate the sound fields of acoustic instruments that reproduce sound Omni-directional. Piano, violins, guitars, drums, and cymbals are not front-firing and consequently cannot be reproduced naturally throughout a listening space by front-firing speakers.
